Terms And Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to items purchased directly from Karen Erlebach (sole trader) where the goods have not been inspected in person prior to purchase (ie. the only contact has been by telephone and/or email). Only one of Section A (goods supplied from stock) or Section B (goods made to customer requirements) will apply; you will be advised which at the time payment is requested.

Section A - Goods supplied from stock.

A.1. Items can only be sold to a purchaser within the UK and delivered to a UK address (a signature is required on delivery).

A.2. Payment must be by cheque in advance and goods will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared. Goods will be despatched at the latest five working days after cheque clearance.

A.3. You may cancel an order (by telephoning me on 01202 701231) for any reason at any time before receiving the goods or within seven working days of receiving the goods (ie. excluding weekends and public holidays) subject to the following clauses:
a. The goods are unused and in a re-saleable condition with labels still attached and include all the packaging.
b. You must return (as soon as practicable) the goods at your own expense to the specified address. I recommend you obtain proof of posting.
c. You must take care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime.
d. If you do not return the goods I will charge you the costs of recovering them.
e. None of the clauses a to d apply if the goods have not yet been despatched.

A.4. If an order is cancelled under clause 3 above and payment has been sent either your cheque will be returned uncashed to the delivery address or, if the cheque has been cashed, a full refund will be made by cheque.

A.5. A contract to purchase an item or items only becomes a binding agreement when I have supplied you details of the items, including prices and delivery costs (where applicable), and I have accepted your offer to buy. I am not registered for VAT so VAT is not charged. If payment is not received within 30 days of the contract becoming a binding agreement the contract shall be considered to be cancelled.

A.6. Section A only applies to orders for items from available stock so subsitutes for ordered items will not be supplied.

A.7. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Section B - Goods made to customer requirements.

B.1. Items can only be sold to a purchaser within the UK and delivered to a UK address (a signature is required on delivery).

B.2. Payment must be by cheque in advance and goods will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared. Goods will be despatched at the latest thirty working days after cheque clearance.

B.3. You may cancel an order (by telephoning me on 01202 701231) for any reason at any time before I have received the cheque. The distance selling regulations do not apply to goods specially made to customer requirements. An order may not be cancelled after I have received the cheque.

B.5. Your statutory rights are not affected.
